Source for Center tunnel sheet metal?
Picked up a 71T coupe this weekend. Let's call her "blue" due to the Gemini Blue paint (what's let of it). Blue spent a lot of time in an outdoor storage in TX. Engine is seized - no worries it will be replaced. Brakes were free (??? Don't know how that happened???). Blue has zero rust on the underside of the car. Longs, floors, etc are quite nice for such storage conditions. However, Blue had a leaking rear window seal. Therefore Blue has no rear deck or seat pans to speak of. The other problem is that Blue sat on a hill with the rear of the car lower than the front. The rear 15" or so of the tunnel is perforated about 1/2" up from the floor due to the puddle.
Does anyone know a source for a center tunnel section? The 71 tunnel is different than a later car. I might have to install the full tunnel from a later car. The problem is getting a parts yard to cut it out cleanly. If anyone is cutting up a tub please let me know. I would like sheet metal cuts.
