Cleaning heater ducts
I've done a search in the forum, but I can't quite find what I'm looking for....
Backgound: I have the engine out of my '73 S Coupe and replacing the heater flapper boxes. The car sat for many years and mice stored many acorns and other stuff on the engine (cylinders, oil cooler) and also filled the tunnel pretty well. I'm assuming the critters also brought the junk down the heater ducts. Question: what is the best way to make sure those ducts are clean / clear? I thought about running a plumbers snake from the front of the car to the rear, or vice versa. Ideas?

I would shop vac at the engine compartment then hook up a leaf blower to the hoses. I did that in my 69 worked great you need a big volume of air.
