What's up with DC Automotive?
Over a month ago ordered a couple of parts from DC for my SC. One was correct and the other was off by enough years to not work. So I immediately call them and the guy says FedEx will come pickup the wrong part and they will send a replacement. Cool. So I ask the guy how it works and he says box up the parts and FedEx will come by and pick it up. Sounded a bit odd with no RA# or mailing label but he sounded confident. So after 3 days the box is still sitting outside and I called DC. The next guy says the first one should have gotten my email to send me a mailing label and RA. OK now it makes more sense. Print label take to FedEx office and send. 2 weeks go by and no replacement part has arrived. Email DC customer service and no resonse in three business days. Call their number and leave voice mail to call me and never a returned call. Call DC a fourth time and ask where my part is, oh it hasn't shipped. Gal assured me it will be shipped immediately. That was two weeks ago. What the h is going on there? Still don't have my part. Arghhhhhhh

Why would he do that?
Pelican sells New Parts. DC Automotive is a dismantler that sells used parts. The couple times I used them they were very slow. Once they sent the wrong part but its been awhile since Ive used them...

RsBOB, Around this time of year, parts suppliers (new and used) are going bonkers so there are going to be mistakes. Just call DC, ask for Robert, and explain the problem. |

I used them a while ago with good luck, parts took some time to get in but I got what I needed. They did send a wrong part once but a call to them and they had the right one in the mail quickly. It was a small part so they let me keep the wrong one as well. It took some time but every thing was sorted out.
Regards Dave

Huh. I have used Dc auto several times with no problems. Hopefully just bad luck because my experience with them has been positive.
