pertronix coil
I have an 85 Carrera. can I use the 0.6 ohm Pertronix coil as a direct replacement for the stock coil? thanks.

Do you need to use Pertronix?
MSD has a great coil for our engines. The MSD High Vibration Blaster Coil - 8222 - is one of the most common replacements. Of course, most folks are also equipped with a MSD 6A or 6AL. You may already have a Pertronix ignition box??? |
thanks. I will look into the MSD.

With a CDI it's best to use an "E & I" laminated iron core transformer type "coil" rather than the simple "I" core coil.
Excellent tutorial, even OUTSTANDING..
