PET for 84-86 shows one part number for non-Turbos and a different left hand part number for Turbos.

930.105.116.00 (x2) for n/a cars

930.105.116.00 (r) and 930.105.116.01 (l) for the turbo cars.

I have no idea what the difference is. My 86 Carrera has identical covers and gaskets left and right. -J

ETA - oops. I had gasket part ##. Corrected.

Don't worry, one size fits all; except for Turbos that require that some of the ribbing be machined away from the surface of one side for clearance. For application on all normally aspirated models, "Turbo" covers are the same left and right.

Well, if your lower valve covers have "Porsche" lettering on them, you have bigger problems than upside-down or not!
