Check out this paint job

these were forwarded to me in an email, the text of which is below:

This is an awesome paint job! Our men in uniform are not only brave ... they are talented!! Check out what some of our boys across the water did to their helicopter. Some Afghan is probably freaking out right about now. The story is: this very special Mi-24 helicopter is presently flying in Afghanistan, where it is no doubt causing quite a stir.

this would definitely scare the bejeezus out of me!

That thing's awesome. It's good to know that the army has a sense of humor.

I'd definitely put those black bird silhouettes in all the windows in my home.

You think the flare/chaff launcher is in an anatomically "correct" location?

I heard that before we strike with that thing we send gliders that drop blotter acid. The government rationalizes that we are not violating Muslim law in that the acid is not produced with pork or any other form of meat.

Due to the festive painting of the helicopter, the US Army also makes it available for hospital visits and wedding celebrations.

I hate to burst your bubble... but...

1. That's not a US forces helicopter.
2. Those guys in the distance are not wearing American uniforms. Looks Hungarian or some other eastern block country.

Sowwy.

P.S. It's a cool picture, though.

It'd Look cool as a Pelican

Struth
Just one of her eggs would feed the Army for a week.

Ya wouldn't wanna be under her when it takes a mid air dump.
