Need Tires for 1974 ROW Carrera
Good Morning Everyone,
I need advice on tires. I have a 1974 ROW Carrera. It has the 15X7’s up front and 15X8’s in the back. I currently have 22560R15’s in the rear and 21560R15’s in the front. I am having a very difficult time finding rear performance tires in that size this time around. Do you all have any suggestions for tires, or other size tires that would work? Thanks so much Jeff

I am on the same hunt. It appears that Pirelli only makes 215 as a high performance tire. Kumho makes a 225X55 which is an all season performance tire.

To be honest, if I were in your shoes, I would be tempted to run 225/50s front and rear. I did that on 7x15s all around "back in the day" and liked it. There are still some street selections in this size (and you could run something like a Toyo RA-1 if you like).
