				 | Push-type 901 vs Pull-type 901
I am taking out my '67 901 gearbox and want to replace it with a '70 901. I understand the '67 is a push-type whereas the '70 is a pull-type. Should I now get a different flywheel/pressure plate/clucth, or is there a way to convert the new 901 box to work with my existing parts?

To use a '70 trans in place of the '67 trans, you will have to get the following New clutch cable New Pressure plate New clutch disk New T/O bearing New Flywheel the casting of'70 case is slightly different different than the '67 case. It has a boss cast in it that the clutch cable passes through, and a guide bracket for the clutch cable
