Questions about ordering thru Pelican
Is there a way of posting my project list to the board?
Before ordering, is it possible to send the project list and some questions to Wayne and Tom for clarification? Here's some other questions about my order you guys might be able to help me with, all related to my 1987 cab ROW for mostly aggressive street driving. 1. Does the Bursch cat bypass pipe come with hole for oxygen sensor? Can't see it on the picture in catalogue. 2. How many and which gaskets do I need for the cat bypass install? 3. What are the differences in the strut bars that make the prices vary from $139 to $189? Which should I be choosing? 4. Bilstein shocks are not listed as heavy duty (only Bisltein or Bilstein Sport) but I see from previous threads people talking about Sport on one end and HD at the other. Does Pelican supply HD? 5. Lots of posts on plug leads of late. I haven't the time to make my own so was going for the Magnecor which it lists as 8mm or 10mm but doesn't have that as an option when I place it into the cart. Which should I be requesting? Your opinions please. Thanks for any help guys. I know Wayne and Tom are really busy guys so I thought I'd ask you guys first for your opions and help as I'm sure many of you might have answers to these questions. Cheers Mark |

1. yes
2. you need three gaskets - two for the back end and one for where it meets the muffler. 3. Manufacturer, and brand name. They are all very similar, but I think that the Weltmeister one has slightly better hardware... 4. I'm not sure on this one, I know that we carry the whole Bilstein line, although off the top of my head, I can't recall if the standard Bilsteins are called HD by some other vendors. I think that there are only two types - regular and sport... 5. The Magnecor wires are a good choice, but I personally haven't worked with them too much. I'm not sure exactly what this question means? Best way to get these questions answered in the future is to give our sales guys a call at 1-888-280-7799. Although I know a lot of stuff, the nuances and particulars of the actual parts are known better by our sales staff that handles these questions each and every day. It's actually a very humorous experience if you happen to catch me answering the phone. Even though I wrote our ordering system, I still stumble through it like a bull in a china shop because I don't use it every day... -Wayne
