Coil testing 1972 911 E

I have 911e 1972 that I am trying to get the ignition sorted on.
When I test the ohms of the coil I am getting

coil type black it is the first part number 0 221 102 026
superseded 0 221 119 021
2.0 ohms Primary
9.4 K ohms Secondary

My manual says primary approx 1.0 ballast resisted
Internal Resisted is 4.0 ohm

secondary 4k ohm - 10K ohm

Found this on a VW site for the superseded coil so i guess it is good

Bosch Black coil (factory original Germany)
0 221 119 020 or 00015 (VW 022 905 115C)
turns: 100-1 (unverified)
primary: 3.0 Ohm
secondary: 9.83 kOhm

thanks

That can appears incredible , but i had an ignition problem with cut-off , on the same model.

And...........even tested and results ok , that was the coil.

I changed for a new one , Bosch brand , and all is ok.

You must know that letting the ignition "on" when the engine is off kills the coil.

MMMM, you need a megger or similar hi voltage insulation tester to be really sure of insulation break down under load and hi voltage conditions. Its often easier to swap in a known good part.
