I don't know if it is actually worth 100 bucks but it is the best and there aren't many options. I don't have any other primary source and the Bentley's well works for me.
I've not tried the 911 Chilton but have been told there are many errors and I've noted that in other Chilton's I've owned...I always cross referenced torques when using that brand.

IMHO Yes. It will pay for itself very quickly if you do any work on your car at all.

Unless Chiltons have improved greatly, the print, pictures, diagrams, etc. were very low quality. Another case of you get what you pay for.

It will easily save you more than that the first time you use it instead of going to a shop.

Hell yes it's a bargain. Try getting a Bentley manual for a C4 Audi sometime. The 1992-1997 Audi A6/S6 manual set (three volumes) is no longer in print. They are now trading above $300 on eBay. And sometimes for more.

$80 for a Bentley? As a resource work for torques and troubleshoot guides, it'll save you that the first time you crack it open in the garage. Well, if you actually do work. Just reading it won't save you money.

Download it for free in a flat file format and see if you like it.

You will tire of running to the laptop after a while but you can be viewing it tonight. No easy index and a lot of hunting and pecking but it's fo' free.
