What about the part number ending in .00 vs .01? Can I use either?

-00 is the old part number
-01 is the newer part number, or what they call a supersession

-00 is no longer available

You can use either -00 or -01

The irony of my post is that when I lived in CT I had an '86 930 with ice cold a/c. Now that I live inTX, neither of my 911 coupes have a/c. The white '74 is the only one currently on the road and I drive it all the time (sunroof and windows open). It is a blast and you get used to the heat.

I think you can use either part number. I'll send you the one from my '84 (brown coupe in the picture) for the cost of shipping if you want it.

Forget the 00. It is NLA.

Deal with the slight mods on the 01 install.
