Targa top fits in trunk sideways
I guess I never realized this because I always laid it longways, but my folded Targa top also fits quite nicely sideways, and allows more storage options for other junk to go in there.

Yes it's true but generally I prefer to put the top folded on the rear seats lowered
It's perfect because in case of rain it takes not more than one minute opening and installing it Also, you have to be careful wile positioning the top in the trunk because you can dent the hood with a corner of the folded top

Behind seats…….
I also just place it unfolded behind the seats and have not had any problems.
I do not fold it and unfold it. I figure the less creasing the better. It goes off and on very quickly.

I fold it and unfold it as needed and throw it behind the seats. My top is 35 years old and will be going for a rebuild this winter when I put my hardtop back on.
It doesn't leak and is just beginning to show it's age. If I spend $1000 every 35 years to use it as it was intended, seems like a fair price! |
