Yes, Marc's post got me through my conversion. It's not too bad - the scariest part for me was notching the bell housing for the 3.2 sensors (if you're keeping the old trans.) Then, figuring out the marriage of your car's original wiring to the new harness. It is well worth the work though!

Chris... I have an '80 that I put an '85 3.2 in --- love that engine! I looked at Marc's site and his documentation is excellent as I see it.

One suggestion...

Don't put the DME on the floor --- especially in an older car... more especially in a leaky Targa. If the car gets a significant amount of water in it, the DME gets wet and unhappy. It might stand a few soaks but why risk the expense when it and associated parts can be mounted on the underside of the seat and off the floor.

(A rotting DME can cause a variety of problems... I know from experience.)

I am just finishing up a 3.2 into a 76. It went better than I expected. A couple of suggestions.
In addition to Marc's conversion notes, look up all the posts on wiring by E. Sully. Ed is full of info and he will answer pm questions too.
Make a 14 pin female to a 14 pin male extension cord to avoid cutting the car harness.
Make a false floor out of aluminum for the DME-it will avoid drilling holes through the floor, and itwill keep the DME at least an inch up.
Good luck with it!
