Etoile Wheels are the similiar to Gotti's.

Popular in the 80's - The Gotti's hold great value, from $600 to $800 for a nice set of 15x9s and 15x11's - Have not seen the values for the Etolie, I'm sure they are less than Gotti's.

The Etolie is a nice aftermarket Porsche Wheel for that era.

Thank you,
Jason

No, to the best of my knowledge - They are no longer in production.

Old School Porsche Wide Body wheels! Miami Vice Style!

Thank you,
Jason

Anyone got pics of these wheels? Are they strong enough for the track?

I just got some Gotti's. I love them.

But I'm sure some will say the're over the top. My car's a slant nose, so I figure go for the bling.

Yes, these are the ones from EBAY, so I guess it's no secret that I probably paid too much $ for them. On the other hand, where else could I find such good ones. I'm happy. Just posted pics of them mounted on the car
Mein Gott(i) - Gratuitus pics
I didn't weigh them, but they are a heck of a lot lighter than the Ruff's that came off. Of course the Ruff's were a bit wider in the rear (18" vs 16").

Etoile and Gotty wheels are great, BUT out of date mainly because of the tires to put on. Before you buy them be sure you can find the tires you want to install on them. 15" and 16" wide tires are hard to find; in some cases they don't making any more.

I think you can speacial order tires..just more $$ as usuall...the Etoile are not very wide,)the ones I bought) and the gotti looks so gorgous I would look in every corner of the planet if I had to for wheels....but they are not mine anyway

To summarize:

Gotti's were "hand made" in France from what I heard years ago.
Etoille acquired them and slightly changed the design, which to some were less attractive. Etoille was eventually bought by Ronal who melded the lineup into their offering. This basically killed the brand.

They are extremely light and strong but, as mentioned, parts are no longer available and tires are harder to come buy.

They made their name by becoming the best choice for Pantera, 911 widebody conversion (w/o spacers) and countach aftermarket.

The US distributor was Topline who I believe went under in the mid/late 90s.

Resurrecting an old thread here but thought those in need of Gotti parts, dimensions, model information, etc would like to have this link:

http://www.gbsalpine.com/wheel/gotti/eng.html

They still stock NEW Gotti wheels and parts as best I can tell.

Cheers,
Tim
