Help identifying these pictures :)

So I have a few issues going on and started trying to fix some of them up...I'll look at another thread for those...

In the meantime if anyone can help me with a few things it would be appreciated.

In going thru the wiring behind the gauges I found the tach is missing a wire on it.

I came across a blue wire with 2 free ends. I "assume" one would go on the tach? Where would the other go to? Anyone know what that blue wire is?

Also saw this in there...is that OK or is the blue connector suppose to go anywhere?

Thanks

Trapper,

Thought I could help you with this but I found no blue with white dash wire at all behind my instruments... and no "T."

Best I can do is show you some views of the back of my working '80 tach for reference.

Someone will know what these wires are!

Thanks. As my car started as a 78 but then had an "upgrade" to an 87 I am not sure what year the tach is from...I think 87. It does work btw. The speedometer does not...had a bad meltdown and was replacing burned wires. Thought I replaced them all...but it still doesn't work.

The blue/white wire connects to a light at the top of the tach, near the red grommet you show in the picture. If you look closely, you will see a hole where the light fixture is missing. The other object is the T to one of your windshield washer jets, from the main line from the washer pump.
