I just bought my dream car a 2002 911 Carrera convertible, with a Tiptronic S automatic transmission and a 3.6L H6 SFI DOHC engine. It is giving me only 10 to 14 mpg around town with normal driving and I have to fight to get 14mpg. It has a new oil separator, any suggestions? Thank You. (I am not punching it!)?

Well its been interesting-it turns out that the car has a lot of oil in the engine where it was not supposed to be after the oil fuel separator was replaced. I used two different very aggressive gas treatments one to clean the jets and the other to remove the varnish caused by the ethanol. I also cleaned the filter. while the gas treatments were funning through the car I ran the engine hard to blow it out. the results were the gas mileage began to come up from 40 mpg to 19 -20 then I dropped to 17, then I added another tank of gas treatment this is the 3 tank will let you know the details in my next post if I have good results and the name of the exact products I am using and the amounts. Should finish this tank in about 2 days of normal driving left maybe Tuesday and will add a tank of gas then with no treatment and let you know the result. Right now as it stands the car is giving 14.5 again but the octane I this treatment is very high so it is not accurate. - so talk in a couple of days.
