If you read my previous posts and didn't understand them, you should've questioned me at the time.
Meanwhile, with all due respect, what does your post contribute to the original question??

Like his assinine idea that the high side pressure would go to 800psi (LMAO

Again, falsely stating it does not make it so. If you can find any place wherein 800 PSI was proposed as factual you will have earned my abject apology. Many A/C systems of a compariable period have BOV's ranging from 350 PSI to 450 PSI ,supposedly to prevent damage to other system components. One of our legacy systems might easily exceed those numbers post engine shutdown in an adverse climate.

and that somehow a 30-degree F temp rise of the rear condenser means that the pressure goes up more than ten percent somewhere other than the condenser.

The 30F rise was the result of a test to prove that the high side pressure would RISE post engine shut down. It was not intented to replicate what might be the worse case for that situation.

These points are obvious to everyone but wwest. So yes, PROVEN wrong. With actual math and everything. But if the rest of the world accepts the proof, and wwest does not, then it's really not proven.

Hello, circular reasoning!

Proven wrong...NOT.

DUH!!!

I understand your point, however, I do not care if wwest is getting his rocks off or not - if he writes something that I think is in error, I am going to challenge it. What goes on in these threads is debate. Sure, it can get silly, but of course, you are not obligated to read any of it.

You have 26 posts. One recommends putting Armor-All on engine hoses, another tells someone there are two lights in some compartment (barn find). That is your total contribution to the forum. The absolute and complete summary of your toil regarding helping fellow Porsche owners.

You want us to assume that you understand what is going thru our heads regarding some off the wall loser that pisses on and confuses people that ask legitimate questions?. Are you really certain you are ready to guide us given your investment here?

Wow! I don't know Mr. Friendly but obviously you "trolled" him enough to research his posts so you coul find some evidence to prove your point. Congrats on your 4000 plus posts and thus your investment.

Good bye to another thread about air conditioning

Yes indeed! You made a statement in one of Reid's infomercial threads that Porsche made improvements to engine cooling with the 964 - proof was offered that your statement was false,

A link, please, even "pretty" please...

and that in fact, the 964 gave away considerable cooling efficiency in order to reduce noise emissions (curved blade fan which Porsche determined moves much less air, and under engine, sound deadening panels which retain heat).

Check my edit time out where I corrected it, Slick.

I read all your posts. It's a function you will learn if you hang around.

With all due respect - Yawn. I got you pegged.

It seems to me a bit odd that some of the people here accusing others of "trolling" are doing just that - trolling for an opportunity to pass judgment and advise others on how to conduct themselves.

Overall not really. I am just a prick.

What needs to be understood is that wwest is a cancer. It has been going on for years, One cannot walk away from unsubstantiated BS if someone else may rely on it.

Now that is something we can agree on. That is what will keep you here and that is what will piss you off when you see all constructive thought fly out the window at the expense of some hapless poster who trusts other posters to set them straight.

And the folks who complain about the troll and his responses contribute exactly what knowledge to the OP?

That's the irony of complaining about how threads get off-track.

The threads get off-track with malice aforethought on wwest's part. He is so hell-bent on continuing his jihad against Griff that he will do ANYTHING to insert himself in ANY AC thread, regardless of applicability of his "advice".

He will then prevaricate and change the subject in order to derail the thread. Making sure that nobody follows his idiotic advice is more important than preventing forum clutter. Eventually, Wayne or someone else will finally tire of wwest's antics and send him packing. Until then, debunking of the preposterous claims must continue, lest some poor soul actually take his half-baked advice, or consider his "logic" as sound.
