Call Griffiths. He will quote you a price to get cold air. His stuff is not cheap but top quality never is.
No buyers remorse here from my Griffiths system. With out a doubt it is the best upgrade or project I have done to my 911. If you are spending the time and money to put in that engine you deserve the best AC system you can get. The finished system will look like it is OEM and be that level of quality. When you drive around in Texas with cold air you will love the system as much as the new engine. |
Your options are Sanden or Nippondenso, York are old technology and vibrate like crazy also take more power.

In several Posts Kuehl/Griffiths has aluded to having tested fans to help cool the rear lid condenser. For some reason it was decided not to bring the product to market. It would be nice to know how the testing went and why the product idea was abandoned. Kuehl was kind enough to test my theory that rising high side system pressure resulting from "after-run" engine heat might be the causative factor regarding loss of refrigerant. Non-barrier hoses appear to not leak for the entire industry of this ear but not "us". Regretably Kuehl modified the test procedure in a way that biased the results. Not really likely to have been intentional on Kuehl's part, but on the other hand he has refused to acknowledge the mistake .... |
Lol wwest lol.

However, if kuehl is offering packages, he is smart enough to have assembled a "northern" package that would include the fans, barrier hose, Sanden rotary or the like, a Hurricane blower and R/D as well as the R134A change out kit from R12. He would still pull some decent margin on those items given they are 911 specific and they would work. That package is going to be well, well, well over a long one, so there may be more to it than just "Shat, I can't do that cause I would shoot me little feets off" |

I read all of his writing, and when he started to repeat himself, I figured I read all there was to read. And since none of it had value, why bother with it? Well, entertainment value, I suppose. LOL. |

It doesn't make sense that he's looking to be shady - in this small community, shady gets you on the outs in a few short posts. |

Picture the trick fan kits that would be available from countless aftermarket suppliers if they were the answer to all ac issues. |

And when her virtue is questioned, he runs all hot over it. Self-delusional at best. |
With the 964 or 993 engine use the factory 10PA15C Denso.

However, the metaphorical "she" would be a tough-as-nails butch "L-word" if she solved all mid-year 911 AC problems. |

This is like asked a high society woman to work as a maid. Not gonna happen... No reason to keep talking about ineffective solutions. Unless wwest is willing to post the videos showing it works.
