Brake Caliper Rebuild / grease removal?

I'm in the process of rebuilding my rear calipers and I've had to remove the pistons using a grease gun (worked great, btw). How do I now remove the grease that has filled the inside of the caliper?

Use a suitable solvent for grease. Gasoline works. Diesel works. Paint thinner works. Those are probably the cheapest options. Work outside with the wind at your back. Spray cans of starter fluid are useful for minor cleanup.

got to get medieval dirty, use your fingers, scrape the goop out, dunk in solvent, use a brush, air dry final cleaning with fresh brake fluid. Rebuild as normal

Thanks fellas... solvent and a warm ultrasonic bath, followed by lots of compressed air worked perfectly.

R. - I will look into this magic brake paste - thank you.

I had to do this recently on one stuck piston. I used brake cleaner and compressed air to get the grease out of the narrow passages. Just when I thought I was done more grease would come out. Keep going at it and then go at it some more...
