The garage has a 2 level floor? That's cool, almost better than having a bunch of car lifts.

Nice job on your suspension...
From local boy to local boy...I would have done the insert replacement for FREE...with no need for alignment.

I have Johnsons do all my suspension and alignment work too. They are good at what they do. Nice looking '74 by the way.

Ash...
Beautiful '74! If you happen to get your alignment settings... or for any one reading this thread... I'd be interested in knowing what settings are applied provided you get even tire wear. I've been driving a 911 of one sort or another for thirty years and have NEVER had an alignment where the tires wore evenly inside and out. They always --- front and rear --- wear out on the inside. (The timber crossbeam under your car looks like it's seen some service!)

Thanks for kind words. Don't know specs but car was lowered 25.5 Front 25 Rear, Aligned, and Corner Balanced. What ever settings are, they work well for a street only car. Here is a pic after the car was done with the "Heir Apparent" getting used to the drivers seat. ![]()

Hey AE
Good to see you posting again. Same guy did my car, they know their stuff. Did you record the corner balance weights?

No my friend, did not get that data. They spent about 5 hours on car, also changed some rear suspension bushings for stabilizer bar while they had car up. He really does a quality work.

Thanks Brah! Might have to drive out and hang with you for some Poke and Beer. I am sure we would be laughing for hours swapping Porsche service/repair/replace stories. WARNING Never take an open drink of coffee, beer, or scotch while working under a Porsche . . . . . close to any draining fluids . . . HA HA HA Might have to drive down south to have that beer

Steve set up my race car for years, built the suspension for my hot rod, and work on all my cars...even my daughters Honda. When you live two hours away and still make the schlep to Johnson's Alignment, that's saying something.
