I will be sending my 930 4 speed out to be gone through and will change the clutch at that time. Would you have the flywheel resurfaced regardless of its appearance just because your putting a new clutch in, or would you just install the new clutch on a flywheel that looks ok?

Depending on condition, if smooth leave it but any signs of ridges, machine it, while it is out, cost is nominal. Trick is finding a competent shop.

I just had a 350 chevy flywheel done for under 50 bucks, the machinist works on premise at a local Napa. While there I asked him about resurfacing my 911 flywheel since I'm putting a new clutch in. He said, bring it in we'll give it a new surface as long as we can get the specs.
