Run away! Get a factory or Mahle filter and sleep well at night. I will say this about Fram, they did me right when their filter destroyed the motor in my first Porsche ('86 944 Turbo).

Mahle. Only. Ever.
 Seriously, there has been a test of the various filters, and none of them ever measure up to the Mahle/Factory. Check this thread for some helpful info. Oil Filter Favorite??
