need help in las vegas seat broke 993

So I go to pick up the 993 from valet at the Venetian hotel and the seat wont go back. I am 6'5" and in its current location it would be difficult to drive 4 hours back home to California. Does anyone know of a shop who can fix it tomorrow in vegas. Or suggestions to fix it. Need help asap

When pressing the button to go back the left side of the seat works fine, but the right side doesn't move at all.

Series 900 Motorsports, formerly Carl's Place. The only place in Vegas to take your air cooled. Ask for Tony...

Right off the strip and open at 8:00am I think...

Freakin valets, they broke my Mom's lexus seat, the motor froze upon hers.

Raise the seat if you can and look disconnected wire/s, make sure it is fully connected.

That's why I never trust valets!

one of the twist cables from the front motor must be out of it's socket if one side slides and the other does not. you could probably fix it yourself with a flashlight and a phillips screwdriver to get the plastic motor cover off. raise the seat as high as possible and pull the mats out.

Motor is under the seat and drives this cable....
Pelican Parts - Product Information: 928-521-252-04-M100
It is either popped out or stripped(more common). You can pick one up at the dealer if you need it today.

Called Tony, Best phone call ever. I finally was able to get the car to him. He took it right back to take a quick look at the car. It was a stripped cable. He manually put the chair in the right position for me to make it home. Since it was going to take time to order a new cable. He didnt charge me at all for the quick fix. I was able to make it back home. Tony and his wife was very helpful, Great people in this Porsche community.

Thank you everyone for the help and suggestions......Glad to be back home.

be careful when installing the new cable. it's easy to mess up the ends and waste $75

Ah - Tony Mazzagatti - great guy. He was my instructor several times at Thunderhill when I was still green and running my SC. Fond memories of his input and also riding in his red/yellow SC. Glad he could help you out.

In the future, do not let valets park your car. Nothing good can come from it.

Yes, Tony and Series 900 Motorsports, formerly Carl's Place here in Las Vegas is the only place to take your air cooled ladies (or any model for that matter). Mine has been going to that shop since the early 80"s when Carl owned the shop, and Tony has kept the magic alive. Such a great guy in the Porsche community. His techs are some of the best period.

Props where props are well deserved !!!!!
