Troubleshooting a NO-start '86=911

Hello,
I was just curious as to what a typical Porsche garage would charge to troubleshoot an '86 911 Carrera, 3.2 L, that was not firing up, since it has been parked in this person's garage for about a year or so...

The owner replaced the battery with a fresh one cuz it was not taking a charge and it was pretty old... He assumed that that would be it and thought it would fire right up. But it was not... It was turning over a lot better, but I knew that it would be a little more involved.

Right away, I noticed the fuel pump sound was not there, so I jumped the wires to check it, and it was working when jumped, but not normally thru the ignition. So I checked for spark as well and nothing.

It was the DME sensor, I jumped the two leads for the fuel pump to injectors and power to the ignition side, and yes, fuel pump priming and we had spark at the plugs.
It was almost there... it sounded like it wanted to fire up.
From there, it was due to the stale gas from sitting so long.
Luckily it hadn't gone completely sour nor was it gummy, I think because he had put some stabilizer in the tank and it was below half a tank.

He added 2 gallons of supreme and some b-12 Chemtool, and let the fuel pump run by itself for a bit... because it has that circulating type, that helped it get into the mix.
Then it fired right up after a few tries...

Anyway, what would a typical Porsche mechanic / shop charge to get this back to this stage..???

I have also replaced the oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, and next will be the spark plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor.

What does the book call for in terms of labor hours? Any approximate figure(s) would be helpful, just to show this person how much money he is saving because of my background, skills, and knowledge.

A Porsche mechanic would have immediately replaced or substituted a known to be working DME relay.

The DME relay supplies power to the fuel pump AND the DME itself.

15 minutes?

I'd charge him a case of good beer and some chips but I'm a little expensive.
