I can't seem to find '76-'77 930 calipers. Can anyone tell me other calipers I can machine to fit? Thanks

Stock Front Calipers: I have located good condition used alloy "S" calipers for $295 each and new alloy "S" calipers for $1695 each.
Stock Rear Calipers: They are available under $100 rebuilt and under $300 new. Send me an e-mail if you are interested : jglsbca@juno.com JGL

The '76/77 930 calipers are just the same alloy S calipers used on all other earlier 911s. There is really nothing particularly special about them except a few #s of wt savings at each front corner. They use the same pad and rotor as the cast iron A caliper and offer no thermal advantage(the usual problem is overheating the brakes
).I'm not clear what your goal is or what deficiency you have found in your current brakes but a cheap upgrade for pre '84 models is the wide A caliper from an '84-89 Carrera and its corresponding rotor which is 4 mm thicker than previous versions, they are straight bolts ons to the front of a 911. If you are looking for someting better try reading this first Brake mod summary
