You are reading my mind! All day today I've been thinking of changing to 7&8's on my SC. Tell me everything! Is your car lowered? Have you rolled your fenders? What size tires are on them? How do they feel? They look great! They seem to fill those wells so much better than the 6&7's. Dose anyone out there have a set to sell me????

They look great Mark, are the 15" or 16"? Can I sell you on some Euro lights though?

Thanks guys. The tires are 205-55 and 225-50-16's. I got the wheels off ebay and am somewhat disappointed with the condition (not as described), but renegotiated with the seller to make the deal "just" OK. I'm going to do a polish and repaint as time allows.

I've only been out for a short run to shoot some pics. I didn't have any fender interferance issues, but haven't pushed it yet. It's sitting at 25.75" F and 25" R. Haven't changed that yet.

So John, ya got some H-4's to peddle??? Email me.

Noah, the front spoiler really balanced to look of the car. I think with that and the wheels, the car is approaching that "meaty" performance car look.

So what do you guys think - leave the wheels with the older paint scheme with polished paddles or paint em back black?Looking for opines.

Looks great, Mark!

Leave the Fuchs alone.. just follow Fishcop's advice and install some H4s.. then you're truckin'!

Mark, you seem to be going for the retro look, I vote you leav the polished paddles. Looks great.

I am also one of the few people who thinks the headlights you have look better then the euro models.

Just prime and paint the grey plastic inside trim rings to match the car. You could probably pull off painting them black too, it would blend in with the other black trim.

Tom

Very nice!, I agree that the euro headlights would be a nice touch, and maybe some euro rear signal lenses just to break up all the red back there? I like the ducktail a lot!!

Sorry Mark, no H4s....I've got a beautiful set of H1s but they point the wrong way for you! (and they're not for sale )

Definitely a personal thing on the lights, but the light output is superior to what you have there.

Keep the paddles too.

Cheers

I prefer the original headlights. You can upgrade them to H4's but keep your original look and rings.
I love painted centers on an SC but I'm biased.

I have been debating whether to add a tail or not...I REALLY like the duck tail...now you got me thinking. I vote you leave the polished paddles...I think it looks better on darker cars. Also, is that a second tailpipe on the second picture? Didn't see it on the first.

Cool

Mark..looks "balanced" IMO..drop that nose ASAP...aside from the look of euro H-4 there is plenty you can do to get high power photons.....Ron

I like polished spokes, but would match the spokes with silver centre caps.

Good catch Wayne, last week I installed a Flowmaster 1 in 2 out install - thanks Jack. I just cut and reinstalled the valance tonight.

Ron, I debate whether to lower it or not. Don't want to compromise daily drivability.

Thanks Brian. Maybe Santa will bring you another red one!!

I'll add to Tom (emcon5)'s advice to prime & paint the headlight trim rings black to match the rest of the trim. (Wurth's satin):

Also, whatever you do with the fuchs don't forget about the center caps:

Damn Mark,

Everytime you post, your car looks better and better!!! Once again, I am humbled and jealous. The wheels look great.

Here is a side-side comparison of the two options. I feel they both have merits.
