What the Heck is this?
Vacuuming the driver side carpet today and as I pull out the mats I see this plug. Never seen it before...can't think of anything that doesn't work in my car. Any ideas what it does?
Blue wire and a blue/white wire. Thanks, Gene. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Not sure of your cars year or model, but it look like the connector from one of the sensors to the Autoheat control. Well the one on my 78 SC looks like your.

Seat belt warning buzzer? Maybe the altitude sensor under the driver's seat. (not kidding)

not used on my 89 with normal confusing heat system. Just buried under the seat. Stuff it back in and ignore it!!.

Ejector seat control? J/K
According to wiring diagrams the only connector that has that color code is the inside temperature sensor for autoheat control.

No autoheat...and my buzzer/seat belt interface works perfectly (buzzer/light turn off when seat belt plugged in)
Tell me more about the altitude sensor. (I 'm a pilot, I can handle it!) |

connector
It's not the altitude/dme correction unit,
as those wires are brown/black and brown wires. The connector is for Auto Heat which is factory pre-wired. ![]() Good luck, Gerry
