M505 option code

Did all factory slant nose optioned cars from 1987 have the 505 option code listed? (US models) If it is not listed on the sticker under the hood, would a COA list it as a factory option? I'm looking at car (1987) that does not list the 505 option code and the COA does not list the slant nose as an option. This guy swears it's a real slant nose. He says it is not listed because it's a very early '87.

If that is all he has to support that it is real, I would be afraid.

Given the value the slant nose option will pull in the used market, why did he not go nuts-o to find true substantiation.
