Post Which steering wheel are you guys using

I am wanting to replace the factory steering wheel in my car, question is whith what? I have looked at the 930S wheel and different MOMO wheels. What are you guys using in aftermarket wheels.

Also if a MOMO, which one and suede or smooth leather? Thanks

I have a Naroli wheel... Forget the first initial but it is hand engraved by the dude for whatever that is worth.

The wheel is just a leather wrapped three spoke design. I like it much better than stock huge horn crazy design.

I really like that 930S design wheel though!

I've got a MOMO Corse. I love it.

Hey, Adrian... Sure you don't have a "Nardi" wheel, instead?

I use an early 930s wheel in the Carrera

a late 930S wheel in the 944 Cup (actually a 968CS item)

My fiancee uses a Porsche Design in her car.

I also use a MOMO prototipo (type 07), which is IMO the best one. Light, easy to turn with the dish, and closer to you. Check out www.momo.it under corsa-competition-rally wheels. well worh a look.

Momo "Race". Great wheel. Get the 350mm size which is closest to the stock size and gives you a good veiw of gauges.

I bought a momo as well. My car steering wheel was a little rough when I got it and I found a great deal on e-bay. It is a club 3,
I think. It is red and black which matches my car. I really like it better. The only thing I notice is with the smaller diameter wheel the gauges are a little harder to see,
but I got used to it pretty quickly, and the wheel feels great.

I just ordered the 930s wheel from pelican-I'll let you know in about a week how I like it and how the install went. I've seen one up-close and it looked sporty and very "Porsche". I am partial to the factory look.

930S from AJ-USA
Anything else looks like it came from Manney, Moe and Jack's.

No flames here... but I have one too. I have no idea of the age but I romantically assume it was put on my car by the original Italian owner.

Black with leather rim, 3 spoke. Simple. Porsche crest and E. Nardi engraved by hand on it.

On an even more romantic note I assume it was personally engraved by Nardi himself. Then I shut myself up

I also have a Momo Racing Line (functional but ugly) and the aforementioned Momo Prototipo (it IS the same as they use on the race cars - see for instance the 906). I really like Prototipo (see below).

I've got a Racemark wheel, got if from Manny, Moe and Jack, not really. It's the Mark Donahue model and it's as old as the 73 S it's connected to. Makes me drive just like Mark. Well, not just like Mark. Acutally, nothing like Mark. Anyway, it looks good on the car.

I have the Momo Top Power. An advantage is that you can get an extension to bring the wheel out an additional 1 1/2 inches from the dash. It looks and feels great. A little small than stock, but good visibility of the tach. I really wanted something a little more "racey" than the 930. Not that the 930 wheel is not racey, just not as after market racey. If you want to remain factory looking, I'd go with the 930.

Here's an incredible site to check for steering wheels. Bought mine here. Took almost 2 weeks to deliver. But it gives you an idea what's out there.
