The TurboPerformance guys had their supercharged 993 [yep, the car on the cover of Excellence recently]at Summit Point this weekend for the OG Racing time trials. Just a beautiful installation - superb castings, and very clean layout. Adds 100+HP, but at a fraction of the cost of the TT, and with the added benefit of boost right across the rev range. Certainly a tempting idea!!
More info at http://www.turboperformance.ws/porschef.htm Follow the links - the Excellence review is worth reading. Tony K - no association or customer experience with Turboperfomance. [This message has been edited by APKhaos (edited 08-27-2001).] |

Paul-
I am fairly certain that the Paxton unit requires a turbo tail. I think the Whipple unit will fit under the Carrera tail, and even the factory deck lid though. -Eric |

What about a "power bulge" ala Triumph TR 250 on a regular tail. Never mind...
