How do you mount a rear grille badge?

I appologize in advance for this neophyte question but I want to make sure I do not break some thing in the process of this minor project. I purchased a vintage badge which mounts on the rear deck lid grille. I have the two screws nand bracket to mount it but have a question regarding accessing the underside of the grille on my 1988 911.

Thank you in advance for the direction.

As I recall, I unbolted the A/C condenser.

Here's a pic:

Good luck,

Porsche Crest Badge

If you a/c you will have to remove the attaching bolts for the condenser, at least on the side where you are installing the badge. The bolts brazed onto the back of my PCA (Loma Prieta Region) were not spced correctly to fit through the slots in the engine grille, so I had to break one off and then epoxy it to the back of the badge. Still holding aftervfour years. Good luck and be careful not to break any a/c fittings.
