Spring vs. Rubber centered clutch disks

Does anybody know when they switched from the rubber center clutch disks? I just took mine apart and it's a spring centered disk. I was wondering if it was the original clutch or not.

Yours should have originally had a rubber centered disk. I have an 84 911 I picked up cheap as the clutch had problems. I found the original rubber disk when I dropped the engine.
