Definitive answer on 75 timing

I've searched and come up with a variety of answers on how to set the timing on a 1975 2.7 with headers. Some say stock setting with vacuum retard connected (5 degrees ATDC). Others swear 5 degrees BTDC with vacuum retard disconnected forever. What do you think?

35 degrees btdc at 6000 rpm. +/- 3 degrees with vacuum advance connected.
5 degrees atdc at 900 +/- 50 rpm with advance disconnected
That is how mine is set. The most important one is the 35 btdc @6000
