Vacuum line?

After recharging my AC , I noticed a braided vacuum line lying down unplugged on the right side of the engine compartment. I cannot locate where it has come from, the other end is plugged into the base of the the throttle body then runs along the back of the engine and was lying close to the oil fill neck. Spent two days checking but cannot find where it has disconnected from! Thanks Lenny

Probably from the 'Temperature Switch' on the throttle housing (see below)

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads22/268+Motor+Vaccum+Switch1377187922.jpg

The end in question goes to the 'Air Valve' located above the 'Vacuum Limiter' on the 'Oil Tank'

(look at your Emission label located on the underside of the engine lid--)

If you need more help just take a picture of the 'Oil Tank' hose connectors and I will guide you further--

Cheers.

One of the braided lines/tubing attaches to the side of the Air Box --

(remove the air filter cover and you will see it)

Happy Labor Day!
