I have a small leak around the support strap, yes. This leak and the wrong routing is why I want to find out what part I need for replacement. Maybe it's possible to buy a special line made for those engines fitted/upgraded with the early type heat exchangers.

![]() ![]() Flash- If you are looking for a custom oil line, I can help you. Just do a search for "oil hose". However, the line from our host I listed earlier is the correct one for your early 911, and the Left side mate to the Right Heaterbox on your motor now is correct for your 911 as well. ![]() ![]() When it comes to exhaust & heat exchangers, 65>74 911 2.7 = 75 911 2.7; in fact these early boxes are recommended for all motors up to 89 911 3.2, so you should fit a Left mate of your Right heater box............ My point is, the oil system must match the vehicle configuration, including transmission & oil tank. The oil hose should route as described previously. When you do your research you will find this to be correct. Len ![]() Last edited by BoxsterGT; 09-26-2013 at 03:52 AM.. |
