The laser capability of radar detectors is pretty much useless. Mine typically goes off 2 nanoseconds before I see the officer pointing the laser at me!

FYI: I have read that hairspray applied to the license plate will also render it unreadable by cameras. Just another cheap *** idea. 'Course you have to respray every time it rains.

Guys, if you want to reliably beat laser, get a jammer. Not a passive system, but a decent active system. I have a Valentine, Bear Tracker, and the Blinder M10 laser Jammer in the p-car. The jammer has saved me at least 3 times and more than paid for it;s heafty +$600 price tag though.
Yeah, I've got over $1200 in speed equipment in the car, but it's all WORTH it. This year it saved the wife moving well over Canada's limit. You should have seen the dumfounded look on the cops face as we blew past him. He literally walked away from his laser tripod with a very confused look on his face.... |
As far as beating Camera's... Superbike Mag. in the UK has a bounty out for pictures of disabled GATSO cameras.

I understand that speeding is a sin. http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif
Then again, I also understand that during a war versus a shotgun and a Ka camera, the shotgun usually wins. To hell with destruction of city property, this is Texas, isn't it?
