adjusting idle on a 930.06 engine (79 SC)

Hello!
After a lot of work done to my California 930.06 (3.0 SC) engine, I now must ask, what I'm probably missing.
Reason is: before all of that intake refurbishment it ran cold 2000rpm to settle to 850rpm within max 30 secs and did about 420km before I filled her up with about 60l (average 14l/100).

The engine is freed from:
- AC kompressor
- airpump
- exhaust gas recirculation
- pre74 heating backdate

The intake was fully dismantled, cleaned, resealed, new fuel valves, valve sockets, new fuel lines, o-rings, throttle gaskets, airfilter, etc.
Timing was refurbished/renewed too (dizzy, plugs, cap), beru wires are fresh and contact ends are blank.

The car runs strong, and feels much better on the pedal as before.

BUT!
- it now runs 2200rpm to settle to 1000rpm way over 30 secs and I had to fill her up after 355km with 62l (average 17,5/100)

I reduced airflow on the throttle with half a turn, but no difference.

Any clue?

Measure the exhaust gas CO and reset the fuel mixture.
