I know someone self-employed that might be interested. I'll talk to them tonight and see how busy they are...

Things to ask yourself (and a good designer/coder should ask you)
  • What's your budget?
  • What's the intent of the site? (ie take orders or just be a big fancy web-based business card)
  • What's your budget?
  • What is it about the current site you want changed?
  • What's your budget?
  • What back-end processing do you need? (ie online ordering, CC processing, searching)
  • What's your budget?
  • Do you have artwork done or does the web guy/girl need to do that too?

There's more, of course...

Getting listed anywhere meaningful in the engines these days co$t$ money.

I would suggest you define your vision and purpose of the site as widebody911 said before contacting any web developers. A site could cost anything between free to infinity.

Good luck!

As a graphic designer with some experience with web work, I cannot emphasize what Thom has said enough.

Be VERY clear as to what you want and what you are willing to spend. If you don't know the answer to either of those questions, most designers I know of will not commit to doing the job for fear of losing their money/time.

And yes, the site can be tweaked from anywhere in the world assuming they have access to your hosting server.

Good luck
