Hey guys! Anyone in the Massachusetts area especially the North shore. I'm in need of a mechanic. 75 911 S has been sitting for a while and need fuel injections cleaned. And any other services to get this baby running.

I hear ya.
I maybe moving back up there in the 495 area so I'm looking also to see who's out there. The local PCA technical chair could also recommend some one who is excellent.

Right now I'm spoiled here in Ct. Been using the Hairy Dog Garage, Dan Jacobs.

Where in the North Shore are you? I lived in Newburyport on Plum Island last year. Awesome location...

Lived in Ma for 20 years, moved to CT for a job and looking forward to getting back at some point.
PCA (Porsche Club of America).
They have chairpersons for each part of the club and the tech chairman should be an expert mechanic like Dan.
Not sure where you are but you could look in New Hampshire also.

Lapkritis, I'm in wakefield. I know Newburyport and Plum Island really nice location. I haven't been to Plum Island in a long time.

Rick Hetherington at Autobahn Performance would be my choice North of Boston. Saved my ass many times when I lived in Boston and still works many of my NE friend's cars.

Exotech is very fairly priced and honest. It's a one man shop (with a helper or two), so you know the work is always being done to a high standard.

AutoSport in Stowe. Speak to Mark Cummings the owner. They've been in business for over 40 years. His dad, Len, started the business in '72 and is a regular poster on Pelican.

Mark at Exotech is also excellent. He did a reseal for me on my '74 S about two years ago.
