I agree with both responses above - the spirals need to originate from the door handle and window crank.

Having the center of the spirals offset is all wrong!

Is that a targa angle brace? Looks like a steeper angle. How are you mounting it? Does it make a bigger difference than at the seat belt attachment?

So the real questions are, how many grams does that save vs. black vinyl? is there any wind resistance advantage to the fabric? Lol

This is some sort of race performance upgrade, right? You open your doors just before the race begins and your opponents are left turning dizzy circles at the starting line.

I am 110% behind the thought process of "it your car, do what you like". Who cares what others think.

However, this does remind me a of bumper sticker I saw many years ago -

"Jerry's dead. Phish sucks. Get a job."

Living in Morrison (close to Red Rocks) in those days and having had to deal with the folks who showed up for those shows, I wont lie, it made me laugh - pretty hard.

I thinks its fun. Go nuts. It's not like you cant change it later.

... all great comments.... and, anticipated. I grew up in the '60s. ???hmmmm.

thanks for playing along - and yes, we know it's reversible, but a concour car this isn't.

- for the one serious question, the Targa body brace was just a result of welding some small tabs to the B pillar and Rocker to attach the rod. It absolutely provides a much stiffer chasis, but it ain't no coupe... maybe a half coupe. I can reference where to get the parts if you're interested.

I'll try and reference a post I made some time ago about the bar...

Targa Body Bracing....

There was one small mistatement about function - it can be operated with or without the top on. It swings up outside the plane of the top and A post.

thanks all,

The look is personal taste and I'm big on individualization.

I have to say that your door handles look as if they can amputate your leg at your thigh above the knee in a serious side impact. Those gotta go.

Also an 'outstanding' look on the top of a woman's T-shirt. Can't wait to see ( after they refocus) how you match it to the rest of the interior and exterior. Why stop now?
