muffler help!
I have a 1987 Targa with a 3.2 and it has SSI's....what muffler can I use that is close to stock noise levels? Can I use the Dansk 2in-1out that Pelican has available? Any other recommendations? I have an M&K GT3 type muffler on it now...it is a work of art! But a tad too loud for this car! any suggestions are appreciated!

Hi,
I have a 1983 3.0sc with SSI. I had a M&K and changed it for noise reason for a stock DANSK 2 in 1. The Dansk give the typical and essential (in my opinion) noise from the flat six. That's exactly what I was looking for. It is still load enough to enjoy. |

+1 on the Dansk, I like the sound mine has. Relatively quiet around town but sounds great when wide open. Mine is the grey primer coated stainless one.

brian bodart (rarelyl8)has the m&k insert that fits in the exhaust tip to quite it down.
i got it in mine and now its amazing and not so loud. best option for your set up in my opinion.
