Help identifying an abandoned porsche?

Hi all, this poor guy is sitting in a local parking garage (and has been for 2 years they tell me).. I'm curious as to what the model is as it doesn't seem to match anything else I'm finding (except maybe a 939?)

Any help would be appreciated

the slant nose was a very common conversion in the 80s. not many were factory built. Real deal are worth good money. aftermarket conversion not so much. those are Gotti wheels

AIR body kit on a 911 chassis. Who knows it might have a turbo motor in it. It was very popular to install turbo motors into non turbo cars in the eighties

It's a 911/930 model year is anywhere from a 1969 to a 1989. It has AIR fiberglass slant front fenders (after market). I would doubt someone hacked a real turbo so feel inside the rear fenders see if you can feel a seam where a narrow body car was cut to add the rear turbo fenders. You may also want to look at the exhaust on the left rear side of the car. Can you see a turbo? Twin exhaust out let and a smaller waste pipe? If so it has a turbo ngine.

If you can post the VIN it would be a big help as to what the chassis is. Does it have a license? You could go to the DMV for owner info.

Interesting that it has the snorkel type headlight washers. Probably 75-79 car.

Stranger things have come up than an abandoned 930 slant look...

I worked on part of the restoration of a Model J Duesenberg that was left in a parking garage for years.

Somewhat publicized legal story involving the lein sale by the garage owner to recover storage fees.

Look at the brakes, that will give you a good idea if ir was build on a 930..

Love the wheels!! Maybe being a teen in the late 80's makes me predisposed to liking them...

It could be a B+B 930 Slantnose conversion. In the early 80s they did conversions with the 928 headlights on a slantnose fender. Some had wild door panels while others used stock doors.

You know what would really help is a picture of the license plate.

Just find out who owns the park stall and ask. Simply look underneath the rear and the story will be evident, look for old oil on ground, and" look up the skirt" if there is a turbo motor probally worth looking into. Then go to your bank and empty your account, as youll need all that to rebuild that turbo motor! Good luck! Then call me if you want help!
