1973 and 1973.5 owner's manuals the same?

are the 1973 and 1973.5 owner's manuals the same? does one manual cover both CIS and MFI? or are there two separate versions?

I picked up a 73.5 and need a manual.

thanks, Don.

our host no longer has them. I found one here...

but I'd like to be sure CIS cars are covered before I order one.

Their is only the 1973 Owners Manual................nothing just for the 1973.5T. Go to Ebay or check Stoddard for used manuals. Stoddard just got hold of a bunch but they sold out quickly. The dealer(s) might be selling reprints as well. CIS is covered in the 1973 owners manual, but do not expect to do any fixes based on the brief description of CIS on the manual. Pick up a Haynes Manual, Waynes's 101 Project Book or the CIS Users Guide.

Driver's vs. Owner's manual for 73

This was discussed in this thread:

'73 Owner's Manual vs. Driver's Manual

Short version: the olive colored Driver's Manual is for ROW cars (T=carb'ed, E,S=MFI), whereas the orange colored Owner's Manual is for North American cars (T=CIS, E,S=MFI).

Yes there are 2 manuals, and the one with CIS is difficult to find in good shape. I have one of each.

They both have E and S mfi, but neither one I have is for a T mfi. The olive drivers manual has carbs for the T, and the orange owners manual has cis.

I have an orange manual for a 1973, not in the best condition but appears to be all there. PM me if interested.

Forget that, just dug it out - it's a 911T Driver's Manual for 1968 models.

FWIW I'd like to pick up a manual that covers the CIS 2.4. condition not real critical.

just came across this. I think the CIS supplement booklet for 73.5? I'll link it here for posterity.
