Rotating Tires?

What is the right way to rotate tires on a 911?

I have Pirelli P700Z's. Fronts-205/55R16-7",
Rears-225/50R16-9".

I can't imagine just moving the tires on the left
side to the right side. A friend suggested i remove
the tire from the wheel and flip them around.

Any tire experts out there?

Tire from the wheel is your only way. For the guys that run the same size wheels and tires front and rear, they just move the rears to the front and visa versa.
