Gas problem with my 911 C2

Starts and runs well for a minute, then dies right after the choke kicks out and won start again... I can smell the excess of gas. Anyone had this problem before?

Well - you are saying C2, so I'm guessing it's a 90-94.

Also - I'm going to guess it's something simple, like cylinder head temp sensor failure.
