Harbor Freight Fuel Pressure Testing Kit - Need Help Please

1980 SC - I'm confident that I've resolved vacuum leaks and am now ready to test fuel pressure. I have good resources (from this forum) on how to test, but I'm stuck at how to hook this kit up. If someone has used this kit, they'd know which pieces they selected to make the proper junction.

The tray lifts off and the main hose is available. The kit's instructions lists the possible pieces for CIS connections, but so far I can only determine that I can remove the nipple fitting at the WUR and securely join there. I can not figure out how to get the other end of the hose to mate with the FD, or with the end of the line coming from the FD.

Has anyone successfully used this kit and can they tell me which fittings they used? The fittings are numbered, or a photo that they may have taken in the process would be helpful. I'd be grateful for a few tips.

Check the search function there's a thread on that very gauge with the proper hose hook up and all.

I've got a 3.2 so I'm not going to be much help unless you have the fuel rail plug like my car did. I used a R134 to R12 adapter fitting which happened to be the same thread as my fuel rail plug. Then I just connected the hose.

You want to hook it up in line with the top center fuel line from the fuel dist to the WUR. Or substitute it for the entire line to check your control pressure.

I picked up the same rig while the 25% off coupon was (maybe still is) in effect.

There's a HF 25% off coupon every month in Popular Mechanics, Motor Trend, Rod & Custom, etc. I always hit the magazine rack before a trip to HF.

Same one I used for mine,

You have to use the hose in the bottom of the kit with the stop valve. It replaces the hose that goes from the Fuel Distributor to the In Fitting on the WUR. The stop valve goes on the WUR side so you can isolate the WUR when testing system pressure. I had to try different fittings until I got the ones to work. I also removed the silly little air stop valves in the fittings too.

Sweet. Much appreciated.
