Does anybody have a picture of this?
I need some photos of the area around and behind the ashtray in a 911/930 (with the ashtray removed). If anybody has a photo or could take a few, I would greatly appreciate it. The PO of my car removed the ashtray and installed a beautiful hi-tech FOX radar detector in its place. Since the ancient detector was a little to large the PO thought it would be a great idea to shave some of the sheet metal to get it to fit. So now I need to reconstruct this area but I don’t have any photos see what's missing.

Tom,
Wow, those are some great pics! That explains everything, I’m missing the entire ashtray mounting piece. Thank you for taking the time to help me out. Next time I’m in SF I’ll buy you a beer. Now… does anybody want to sell the part circled? If not I need to find someone who likes to slice and dice Porsche’s. Any suggestions? Thanks again for the help. |
