please help locating these oil lines!!

Hi all - please help me locate these parts... I am getting lost in all of the oil lines that are out there!!

My mechanic said I need the following for my 1979 targa 3.0

1. Oil pressure sender switch
2. Chain tensioner oil lines (left and right side)
3. Sink to oil cooler oil line
4. Thermostat to tank and thermostat to engine oil lines

Please help me locate these - help with part numbers.

Thanks!
Paul

I'd call Pelican and tell them what you need and order them.

That is the easiest way. A telephone with a human interface is simple and will get you the correct parts every time.

Regarding the chain tensioner oil lines...you want to ask your mechanic if you have the Carrera oil fed tensioners which did not originally come on the SC but is a common update. If he doesn't know, take a picture of the oil lines and post it.

I will add to this, since I just went thru it, that the chain tensioner HARD LINES that run to the actual chain covers should be purchased at the same time as the soft lines as they have changed over the years and aren't guaranteed to line up. They are not that pricey. Also, I don't think the sealing rings will come with them so you should get those too, unless your mechanic has things like that in stock.

Here is the Porsche PET for 911 model years 1978-1983 - you should be able to find the part numbers for everything you need, and then type the numbers into the Pelican search box . . .
