Custom Center-Exit Mufflers

I'm looking to switch mufflers from a 1-in/1-out side-exit to a 1-in/2-out center-exit (I'm retaining the stock heat exchangers and cat/bypass). In particular, I like this "RSR-style" outlet arrangement:

Based on the price of the off-the-shelf offerings, I was wondering if something with similar outlets has been fabricated using a more economical 1-in/2-out muffler, such as the offerings from Flowmaster, Borla etc.? Has anyone done this?

Here's mine. I designed it off the old rally exhaust systems. It cost me $40 to have the welding done and about $10 for the pipes. Yep, it was a bargain.
